As a respite, I’d stop in at Casabella to look at all their beautiful things, and to purchase gifts for friends and family. What really stood out during that time was their kindness. Michele has an amazing eye, but she’s also a lovely and thoughtful business owner. So when I bought my new home outside of Boston, I knew I wanted to work with them. I was happily surprised to find that Michele and her team would make the trek North to help me decorate. They were also willing to work within my budget on a project-by-project basis.
The first thing I hired them for was a color consultation. They helped me choose my color scheme(s), and also created a mock up of concepts for rooms I wanted to tackle. In the spare bedroom, dining room, and living room, we did a deeper dive with furniture, window treatments, and accessories. They expertly showed me how to transform my house. There were a few antique pieces that I wanted to keep, and their willingness to be flexible and drawing these items in was refreshing. Other designers would have made a fuss.
In addition to incorporating must-haves in the end design, they were open to my influence – and really listened to what mattered to me.
I wasn’t looking for a nautical look, and was delighted to discover that their design sensibility spans the whole spectrum of style. They understood how important my home was to me, and I knew they were working hard to create spaces with great flow that are comfortable and welcoming.
Between arranging appointments around my schedule to sending visuals to handling all the installations – they’re amazing project managers. As a working woman, I found their comprehensive approach helpful and efficient.
I’m overjoyed with the end result of each project they’ve done for me. Even if you have a good eye, Casabella takes your project to the next level so that your space looks amazing. When I’m ready to do my next home project, I know that Casabella will be there to support me. It’s a great place to have in your network.”
